Voted Best Small Library in America in 2006 by Library Journal. The building committee wanted their new 8,000 square foot facility be designed to complement the surrounding built environment and provide a modern first class library for the community. The success of this exiciting project was evidenced by the strong support of the residents during fund raising. Red brick was selected as the main exterior wall material and a standing seam metal roof was chosen to reflect many of the old barn roofs in the surrounding countryside.
